Matthew has completed and received a BFA in Digital Filmmaking at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, and from May - August 2017, was enrolled in Temple University Japan's summer semester, in which he studied film production and digital art photography.
He has DP'd on the award-winning indie short film "Too Damn Long", which was recently picked up for distribution through ShortsTV, a subsidiary of AMC Networks. In addition, he has shot the indie feature film "Anywhere Is Here", also produced by Chamber of Noize which won the grand jury prize at the 2019 Olympus Film Festival in Los Angeles, and appeared as an official selection in several other film festivals such as the Newark Intl. Film Festival, Hoboken Intl. Film Festival, and was a nominee in the 2019 New York Cinematography Awards as well as the 2019 European Cinematography Awards.
He has worked full time as a Camera Technician at Adorama, and also works as a concert photographer and writer for Jrocknews.com.
